(April 4, 2018)\u00a0From street art to virtual reality to translational chemistry and more, there is something for everyone at Monmouth University\u2019s third annual Scholarship Week:\u00a0Celebrating Academic Creativity, highlighting\u00a0students\u2019 scholarly contributions in research, writing, service\u00a0learning, the arts, and design April 16-22.<\/p>\n<p>The public events\u00a0will highlight student-faculty collaboration and\u00a0showcase and celebrate students\u2019 academic work both inside and outside the classroom.\u00a0Students will present their work through poster sessions,\u00a0panels,\u00a0presentations, and performances at over 40 events to be\u00a0held across campus\u00a0throughout the week.<\/p>\n<p>Featured events include:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li class=\"x_s6\">The Service Learning Showcase\u00a0that\u00a0will celebrate community involvement initiatives across a wide variety of disciplines, including English,\u00a0communication, education, social work, health studies, professional counseling, and art on Tues., April 17.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_s6\">Hawk Talks&#8211;TED-talk style lectures given by undergraduate and graduate students.\u00a0This program, scheduled for Wed. April 18,\u00a0highlights the diversity of events offered throughout the conference and spans all disciplines.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_s6\">On Thurs., April 19, the\u00a0Interprofessional\u00a0Exhibition\u00a0will unite the Schools of Social Work, Education,\u00a0and Nursing and\u00a0Health Studies\u00a0for a poster session and panel\u00a0discussion on suicidality among adolescents.<\/li>\n<li class=\"x_s6\">Phil S.\u00a0Baran,\u00a0Ph.
