{"id":32212264013,"date":"2012-08-15T00:00:00","date_gmt":"2012-08-15T04:00:00","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/mu-medical-technology-grads-hired-by-local-medical-centers\/"},"modified":"2012-08-15T00:00:00","modified_gmt":"2012-08-15T04:00:00","slug":"mu-medical-technology-grads-hired-by-local-medical-centers","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/news\/mu-medical-technology-grads-hired-by-local-medical-centers\/","title":{"rendered":"MU MEDICAL TECHNOLOGY GRADS HIRED BY LOCAL MEDICAL CENTERS"},"content":{"rendered":"<p class=\"text\">Kat and Jeremy have completed their twelve-month hospital internships and earned their B.S. in Medical Technology from Monmouth University. <\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Kat is now employed at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch as a Microbiology Technologist.\u00a0 Jeremy is employed as a Medical Technologist at Central Jersey Blood Center in Eatontown.<\/p>\n<p class=\"text\">Students majoring in Medical Technology at Monmouth University complete 96 credits of collegiate work prescribed by the National Accrediting Agency for Clinical Laboratory Sciences and complete a one-year training period in an affiliated NAACLS-approved hospital.
