The event, hosted by the Center for the Arts, served as a complement to Niebla&#8217;s ongoing exhibit in the Pollak Gallery. Niebla&#8217;s demonstration, which also featured Cuban musicians, provided students with unique insights into his creative process. The bi-lingual presentation offered students a glimpse into the challenges of working as an artist in Cuba and a deeper understanding of the subjects Niebla features in his work \u2013 the country elders who embody and preserve Cuban traditional culture.
