Monmouth’s beloved mascot has gone through quite the glow-up\u2014from an actual hawk many decades ago to the feathered, fist-pumping, crowd-hyping Shadow we know today. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

Through the years, a kettle of students has donned various iterations of the costume to keep Hawk Pride soaring\u2014all while sticking to the golden rule: never reveal who\u2019s behind the beak. But now\u2019s your chance to spill the birdseed! If you ever were Shadow, we want to hear everything. What was it like behind the mask? Any epic mascot fails? Secret dance moves? Tail-pulling incidents? And even if you never suited up, we still want to hear your best Shadow stories\u2014whether it\u2019s a game-day selfie, a memorable mascot moment, or just a time Shadow made your day. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
