I never thought the day would come<\/p>\n\n\n\n
When I would miss sitting around<\/p>\n\n\n\n
waiting for my class to start<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or the annoying task of filling up gas tank two times a week.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
The little things that would normally bother me<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are the ones I suddenly long for<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Sitting in a class I don\u2019t want to be in<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Waking up early<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Trying to find time to do my homework because there isn\u2019t enough time in one day<\/p>\n\n\n\n
I never thought the day would come<\/p>\n\n\n\n
That I would long for the privilege to sit in the student center with my friends<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Because we were told we can\u2019t go<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Or that I would have to wait to see my friends who are now home<\/p>\n\n\n\n
For months because I am told to stay home<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My afternoons that were once filled with<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Dealing with lazy bright students, the rush of the school day,<\/p>\n\n\n\n
And the enjoyment of spending time with the little kids in my life<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Are no longer a reality<\/p>\n\n\n\n
But a dream that I never thought I was living in<\/p>\n\n\n\n
