The BSU is an educational, social, and political force on campus to represent and advocate the concerns, problems, and image of black students. Students can bring about a positive change through working collectively, united together.<\/div>\r\n            \r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<div class='accordion accordion-section '><button class='accordion-section-title' href='#latin-american-student-organization-laso'>Latin American Student Organization (LASO) \r\n            <span class='caretContainer'>\r\n                <svg class='caret' viewBox='0 0 1825 1825'width='28' height='28' fill='#0d64b2' stroke='#0d64b2' style='position: absolute'>\r\n                    <use xlink:href='#caret'><\/use>\r\n                <\/svg>\r\n            <\/span>\r\n        <\/button><div class='accordion-section-content' id='latin-american-student-organization-laso'>\r\n            <div class='accordion-innerContainer'><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/monmouth_laso\/\"> Follow @monmouth_laso on Instagram <\/a><\/p>\n<p>LASO encourages and initiates relationships between Hispanic and non-Hispanic students through multicultural awareness, promotes the need for pursuing a higher education within minority communities, and allows a forum in which potential members can work toward common goals. The organization\u2019s goals are to be recognized as fundamental leaders in the University community, serve in numerous ways, and reach out to members of all communities, especially to those of Latin and minority backgrounds, advocating that there is strength in numbers.<\/div>\r\n            \r\n        <\/div>\r\n    <\/div>\n\n\n<div class='accordion accordion-section '><button class='accordion-section-title' href='#muslim-student-association-msa'>Muslim Student Association (MSA) \r\n            <span class='caretContainer'>\r\n                <svg class='caret' viewBox='0 0 1825 1825'width='28' height='28' fill='#0d64b2' stroke='#0d64b2' style='position: absolute'>\r\n                    <use xlink:href='#caret'><\/use>\r\n                <\/svg>\r\n            <\/span>\r\n        <\/button><div class='accordion-section-content' id='muslim-student-association-msa'>\r\n            <div class='accordion-innerContainer'><a href=\"https:\/\/www.instagram.com\/monmouthmsa\/\"> Follow @monmouthmsa on Instagram <\/a><\/p>\n<p>The Muslim Student Association was established to facilitate the practice of Islam and to encourage and enhance friendship and cooperation among Muslim students. The International Club has traditionally been active in promoting international student life on campus and in the surrounding community. Club membership is open to all Monmouth students (regardless of national origin). Students new to Monmouth are encouraged to attend biweekly meetings and semester activities.
