About Our Alum

Paul Haines will start at Rowan University School of Osteopathic Medicine during the summer of 2020. Paul was a regular on the Dean’s List and became a member of Eta Sigma Gamma National Health Education Honorary in 2016.

Paul was an EMT for West Long Branch while he was a full-time student at Monmouth. While at Monmouth, Paul interned with Dr. Kubera utilizing CRISPR-Cas9 to edit genes aimed at the prevention of fetal alcohol syndrome. In 2016, Paul was the E-Board Treasurer for the Outdoors Club and Sophomore Senator for the Student Government Association. In 2017, Paul traveled to Guatemala to deliver health education with Dr. Hirschler and students in the course Guatemala Public Health.

During the summer of 2018 Paul studied abroad in Cádiz, Spain for six weeks and then spent two weeks traveling around Spain and Morocco.

Paul was also a tutor for students taking General Chemistry, Organic Chemistry, Anatomy and Physiology, and Statistics.
