St. John’s University Partnership Agreement

St John’s University (SJU) is pleased to have developed a partnership with Monmouth University designed to create pathways for eligible St. John’s students to pursue graduate studies at Monmouth. Set yourself apart, develop sought-after skills, and open career doors with any of these programs!

Program Admission Requirements for SJU Students Curricular Notes
M.A. Addiction Studies No admission entrance test. GPA of 3.0 or above preferred. Personal interview required. n/a
M.A. Anthropology No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA. May transfer up to six graduate AN credits.
M.A. Communication No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA. Students from St. John’s B.S. Communication Arts program will need to take 30 credits of M.A. CO courses.
M.S. Computer Science No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA.

Students from St. John’s B.S. CS program will need to take 30 credits of MSSE courses.

 

Students from all other B.S. programs will need to take 30-42 credits, depending on their background.

M.S. Information Systems

 

No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA. 30-45 credits, depending on students’ undergraduate courses.

M.S. Software Engineering

 

 

 

 

 

 

No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA.

Students from St. John’s B.S. CS. program will need to take 30 credits of MSSE courses.

 

Students from all other B.S. programs will need to take 30-41.5 credits, depending on their background.

Master of Social Work No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA.

Students from St. John’s will apply as Regular Standing students.

 

Monmouth will accept the following SJU courses as transfer credits into the M.S.W. program if a grade of B or better is earned:
