Students completing the following courses at GCU (credits) with a grade of B or better: MA 210 Discrete Mathematics (3) can enter the MS in CS and would need to complete these 3 courses: CS 501B Program Development (3) Restricted to GCU Mathematics majors seeking to enter MU CS program. |
MS Information Systems | No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA. |
Students completing the following courses at GCU (credits) with a grade of B or better: AC 171 Principles of Financial Accounting I (3) Students can enter the MS in IS Management Track and would need to complete the following 2 courses: SE 505 Introduction to Software Engineering (1.5) Restricted to GCU Business Administration majors seeking to enter MU MSIS, Management Track. |
Master of Social Work | No admission entrance test. Minimum requirement of 2.75 GPA. Advanced Standing students entering the program with BSW earned in the last 6 years must have a 3.0 in the major. |
Students from GCU with a major other than Social Work apply as Regular Standing students. Monmouth will accept GCU courses noted below for students in the Social Work minor as transfer credits into the MSW program if a grade of B or better is earned. SW 203 Introduction to Social Work For other majors, transcripts would need to be reviewed and the number of courses to be accepted depends on the undergraduate major and grades earned. |
