All students may <a href=\"http:\/\/www.fafsa.gov\/\">file the FAFSA online<\/a>. Our school code is 002616.&nbsp; If you do not intend to file for financial aid, please notify our office.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Monmouth University does not have established deadlines for processing financial aid. Eligibility for federal student aid is based on financial need and several other factors.\u00a0 <a data-type=\"page\" data-id=\"890\" href=\"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/finaid\/getting-started\/eligibility-for-aid\/\">Review the basic eligibility requirements<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Note that the U.S. Department of Education selects applications for verification. The verification process entails the comparison of the data supplied on the FAFSA with official documentation. Students selected for this process will be notified by the Financial Aid Office. If during this review discrepancies are discovered, they will be corrected to reflect the data on the official documentation. These corrections may result in a change\u2014either an increase or decrease\u2014in the student\u2019s aid. In some cases, the aid may not change.
