There is no established annual maximum a parent may borrow on behalf of each dependent child; however, the loan amount cannot be greater than the difference between the student\u2019s\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/finaid\/cost-of-attendance-budgets\/\">cost of attendance<\/a>\u00a0and his or her other estimated financial aid. There are no lifetime borrowing limits in the Direct PLUS program.
