Please note that there are a very limited number of seats in this program and available seats are awarded based on a first-come, first-served basis to students who have completed the Yellow Ribbon application process. Your application will NOT be considered until it is complete and all required documentation has been received by the Financial Aid Office. <\/strong>You will be notified by the Financial Aid Office once your application, Certificate of Eligibility, and DD-214 (if applicable) have been reviewed and a determination of your eligibility for Monmouth University Yellow Ribbon funding has been made. Note that submission of an application is not a guarantee of Yellow Ribbon funding by either the University or the Veteran’s Administration.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n NOTE: Starting August 1, 2022, you may become eligible for the Yellow Ribbon Program if you\u2019re currently an active-duty service member who qualifies at the 100% level (you already served on active duty for at least 36 months) or if you\u2019re a spouse using the transferred benefits of an active-duty service member who meets these qualifications.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n If you have any questions regarding your admission status please contact Patrick Dorsey at 732-263-5873<\/a>, for questions regarding financial aid please contact Tabitha Conlan at 732-263-5506<\/a>, and for questions regarding veterans’ services please contact Xochil Ramirez at 732-263-5258<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n What does Yellow Ribbon cover?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n Once you have exhausted the private institution tuition and fee cap for the Post 911 GI Bill\u00ae (2026-27 cap is $30,908.34), the Yellow Ribbon benefit will pay tuition costs up to $9,750 per academic year.\u00a0 The Department of Veteran Affairs will match up to our Yellow Ribbon contribution of $9,750.\u00a0 Full-time undergraduate tuition is covered for 12 to 18 credits per semester.\u00a0 Some fees may not be covered and if you exceed 18 credits in a semester, you will be charged a per credit rate.\u00a0 You will be responsible for any balance the Yellow Ribbon contribution does not cover.\u00a0 Also the Yellow Ribbon benefit, in most cases, does not cover summer classes.\u00a0 Please check with the Financial Aid Office for other financial aid options for summer.<\/p>\n\n\n\n For the 2026-27 academic year, Monmouth University’s Yellow Ribbon Program will have a total of 30 seats available for both new and continuing students.<\/p>\n\n\n
