Faculty Governance Award<\/h2>\n

Faculty Council has established a new faculty award, The Eugene Simko Faculty Leadership Award, named after our college and past Chair of the Faculty Council. This award recognizes individuals who best capture Gene\u2019s multi-faceted and enduring impact on Monmouth University.<\/p>\n

The recipients of this award must have had a substantial and diverse impact on this community for a long period of time. This impact can occur through any combination of faculty-appropriate activities, some of which occurred within three years of the time of the award. Posthumous awards are possible.<\/p>\n

The award comes with recognition at the annual Retirement and Awards Ceremony and commencements,memorialization by means of a prominently displayed plaque of winners and a cash award of $1,000.\n<\/p><\/div>\n
