As a real estate professional with Keller Williams Shore Properties, Juliann Schwartz works with buyers and sellers to fulfill their real estate needs.
“For many people, purchasing or selling a home is one of the biggest financial commitments of their life,” Juliann explains. “It is my responsibility to walk my clients through the entire real estate process from beginning to end.”
This process includes educating clients on the current market, preparing market analysis reports, showing homes, developing marketing plans for listings, hosting open houses, negotiating deals on behalf of clients, writing up contracts, and more.
While Juliann enjoys the flexibility that comes with building her own client base, the most fulfilling part of her job is getting to see the finished product.
“There is nothing more rewarding than helping a newlywed couple start their life together in their first home, or helping empty nesters downsize to their forever home,” she says. “I feel so lucky I get to be a part of such significant milestones in my clients' lives.”
Before establishing a career in real estate, Juliann earned her BS in Marketing with a minor in IT from the Leon Hess Business School in 2015. While at Monmouth, she benefitted from small class sizes and knowledgeable faculty, and developed a strong foundation in business practices.
“Monmouth provided me the education I needed for a successful career and has truly shaped the person I am today,” Juliann says of her experience.
After earning her degree, Juliann searched for a career where she could apply her marketing background while getting to work one-on-one with people.
“Helping people, educating people, and inspiring people is what drives my motivation,” Juliann explains. “A mentor of mine suggested trying real estate, and that is how I ended up as an agent.”
Since breaking into the professional world, Juliann has learned to navigate the business of real estate and marketing, and has seen firsthand that every employee plays an important role in making a company successful. Going forward, her goal is to build and grow a reputable real estate business while balancing time for family, friends and doing the things she enjoys, such as traveling.
Juliann’s advice to Monmouth students looking to begin their careers is to find something that they are passionate about.
“If your first job is not your dream job, use it as a stepping stone to the next opportunity,” Juliann suggests. “Never sell yourself short on what you think you are capable of.”

Faculty Member Influence
"Janeth Merkle and Dr. Lu in the business school were both very supportive of the American Marketing Association when my peers and I were trying to build its reputation on campus. Janeth and Dr. Lu were always there to answer a question, solve a problem or help us run a successful event. They really helped our club to get noticed in the business school and on campus."
How Monmouth helped me achieve my goals
"Monmouth provided me the education I needed for a successful career, and has truly shaped the person I am today. I really benefited from the small classes, helpful faculty and all the resources that were available to us on campus both academically and socially."
Organizations that helped me as a student
"During my time at Monmouth, I had the opportunity to serve as chapter president for my Greek organization and that forever changed me. I learned many skills that I have brought with me past my time at Monmouth and into the real world and even into my real estate business. I thank Monmouth for giving me that opportunity."
Why I'm proud of Monmouth
"I am proud to be a part of a university that is always growing and continuing to do better for its students, faculty and alumni. Whenever I go back and visit the campus I am reminded how lucky I was to be able to spend four years at a university as prestigious as Monmouth."
My favorite Monmouth memory
"My favorite Monmouth memory is just being with my friends and classmates on campus. Whether we were studying together in the library, supporting the football team at home games or meeting up for dinner in the dining hall, I truly cherish those laughs, good times and memories we all made together!"
