A step-by-step process for physical exam will be reviewed. Using images and a case study format, participants are guided to describe and identify physical findings. Clinical guidelines and standards of care are incorporated throughout.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Desired Learning Outcomes:<\/strong> at completion of this program participants will apply the clinical knowledge gained in the assessment and care of the school age child.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Topics will include:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>An overview of normal and abnormal findings in health screenings<\/li>\n<li>Common pediatric disease and disorders<\/li>\n<li>The process &amp; procedure for the assessment of the ear including demonstration of the otoscope<\/li>\n<li>Vaccine preventable disease update<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Presenter:<\/strong> Steve Miller, DO \u2013 Pediatrician with Navesink Pediatrics \u2013 Affiliate Clinical Faculty\/ Monmouth University, The Marjorie K.
