Participation is limited to nurses who have completed a didactic course of SANE\/SAFE training.<\/p>\n<p>This 2-day live training experience provides the attendee with an opportunity to observe and demonstrate clinical skills used during the assessment and treatment of adolescent and adult victims of sexual assault.<\/p>\n<p>Participants will observe and demonstrate the following techniques:<\/p>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Specimen collection and packaging<\/li>\n<li>Photo-documentation of findings<\/li>\n<li>Genital inspection and pelvic examination<\/li>\n<li>The use of supplies and equipment specific to completion of a forensic medical sexual assault evaluation.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Fee: $450<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>16.0 nursing continuing education contact hours will be provided by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN).
