Join the Monmouth University community in celebrating the life and founding of Monmouth University.\u00a0 This year\u2019s convocation address will take place in Pollak Theatre beginning at 2:15 pm.\u00a0\u00a0 Founders’ Day is a campus-wide event that celebrates Monmouth University’s founding as a junior college in 1933.\u00a0 The first Founders’ Day was held in 1983 as part of the University’s 50th anniversary celebration and has since become a University tradition. The celebration is centered on the Convocation ceremony, presided over by President Paul R. Brown, and attended by invited guests. <\/p>\n
The Greek Senate will be hosting competitions of strength and speed with a 52\u2019 inflatable obstacle course and a four way inflatable jousting arena.\u00a0 Hourly winners will be announced and provided prizes for best time on the course and most wins in the arena.\u00a0 The Greek Senate will be asking for donations for The Wounded Warrior Project and The Veteran Student Association will be hosting a table for their Annual Drive for Military Service Personnel.<\/p>\n
