Oct 17<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><strong>The Mac Varsity Club 301 &amp; 302 | 6 p.m.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p id=\"radETempNode\">Our workshop\u00a0empowers participants<br \/>\nto create and upload\u00a0photographic documentation of<br \/>\noverlooked\u00a0communities to Google maps, building a\u00a0public document of<br \/>\nthe community from\u00a0within. The half day workshop can be adapted\u00a0for any\u00a0age<br \/>\nand participants may use any level\u00a0of digital camera. We begin with a<br \/>\nshort\u00a0presentation on\u00a0work with locative media and\u00a0conceptual<br \/>\ndocumentary projects. Participants\u00a0then are given a\u00a0shooting<br \/>\nassignment\u00a0based on local areas absent or overlooked in\u00a0Google<br \/>\nStreetView.
