The Family Love Letter is a thoughtful, well-conceived plan that helps families in times of confusion and uncertainty surrounding death or incapacity of a loved one. The goal of the Family Love Letter is to help provide clarity, reduce stress, and minimize conflicts or inadvertent mistakes that often occur in these times of turmoil.
Sometimes we wonder what our family will do after we are gone. Will they know who to call, where key documents are located, passwords to important accounts, or if they are accurately honoring our intentions? Dealing with the death or disability of a loved one is stressful enough – not knowing what to do with their finances in the aftermath presents an additional challenge to a family.
Join us as Rick Shaughnessy ’04 presents an overview of this indispensable planning tool, intended to enhance the legal planning and legacy documents you may have prepared for your loved ones.
