Join New Jersey Senate President Nick Scutari (D-22) and New Jersey Senate Minority Leader Steve Oroho (R-24) in a discussion with Monmouth University students about how leaders of opposing parties and ideologies can respectfully disagree on policy, but work together toward the public interest. The conversation will be moderated by Democratic Sen. Gopal and former Republican Sen. Kyrillos.

This free, virtual event is open to the public, but registration is required.

	Sen. Vin Gopal A Democrat representing New Jersey’s 11th legislative district, Gopal serves as chair of the Senate Education Committee and Majority Conference Leader.
	Sen. Joe Kyrillos (Ret.) A former Republican state senator who represented the 13th district, Kyrillos served as the Republican State Chair and is also a former Republican candidate for the U.S. Senate.

	Senate Minority Leader Steve Oroho A Republican representing New Jersey’s 24th legislative district, Oroho has served in the New Jersey State Senate since 2008.
	Senate President Nick Scutari A Democrat representing the state’s 22nd State legislative district, Scutari was first elected to the New Jersey State Senate in 2003.
