Monmouth University Urban Coast Institute (UCI) Director Tony MacDonald and Professor Randall Abate, Rechnitz Family/UCI endowed chair in marine and environmental law and policy and director of the Institute for Global Understanding (IGU), recently participated in the 26th UN Climate Change Conference of the Parties (COP26), held Oct 31-Nov. 12 in Glasgow, Scotland. Over 20,0000 representatives of world governments, industries, advocacy organizations, scientific and policy bodies, and other interests gathered to accelerate action towards the goals of the Paris Agreement and the UN Framework Convention on Climate Change.

Women in Leadership Symposium
We are excited to announce the Women in Leadership Symposium on April 20, 2021 from 3 to 5 PM (zoom) aimed to reach all current or aspirational leaders/employees in P-12 education, higher education, and business. This FREE symposium is brought to you in partnership with New Jersey Association of School Administrators, Monmouth University, and Equitable.
The focus of this year’s symposium is on wellness and will feature author and educational advocate Tina H. Boogren, Ph.D. Boogren is the author of numerous books centered on her passion areas of quality instruction, coaching, mentoring, and wellness and hosts the weekly podcast “Self-Care for Educators with Dr. Tina H. Boogren.” A panel of multidisciplinary professionals will provide insights and strategies to help professionals integrate wellness activities into their professional lives.
