DESCRIPTION:Presented in partnership with Autism Speaks New Jersey\, this juried exhibition opening at the beginning of Autism Awareness Month will showcase the talents and abilities of artists living with Autism Spectrum Disorder and initiate a conversation about the unique power of art in the autism community. Each piece of work will be for sale and a portion of the proceeds will benefit Autism Speaks.   \nOpening Reception: April 2\, 5-7 PM\nThe opening reception will be presented in conjunction with the Bravo Amici benefit concert for Autism Speaks on April 2 at 8 PM.

DESCRIPTION:Tickets on sale July 20th\, 2016 \nThe Met’s first new production since 1969 of Strauss’s rich romantic masterpiece is conducted by Music Director James Levine and directed by Robert Carsen\, whose most recent Met production was the hit 2013 staging of Falstaff. Renée Fleming sings one of her signature roles as the Marschallin\, opposite Elīna Garanča in her first North American performances as Octavian\, the impulsive young title character. The cast also includes Günther Groissböck as Baron Ochs\, Erin Morley as Sophie\, Marcus Brück in his Met debut as Faninal\, and Matthew Polenzani as the Italian Singer. SUMMARY:Adult/Adolescent Sexual Assault Forensic Examiner (SAFE) Clinical Skills Training (IAFN)
DESCRIPTION:The purpose of this program is to prepare the registered nurse for the clinical aspects of the adult/adolescent sexual assault medical-forensic examination. Participation is limited to nurses who have completed a didactic course of SANE/SAFE training. \nThis 2-day live training experience provides the attendee with an opportunity to observe and demonstrate clinical skills used during the assessment and treatment of adolescent and adult victims of sexual assault. \nParticipants will observe and demonstrate the following techniques: \n\nSpecimen collection and packaging\nPhoto-documentation of findings\nGenital inspection and pelvic examination\nThe use of supplies and equipment specific to completion of a forensic medical sexual assault evaluation.\n\nFee: $450 \n16.0 nursing continuing education contact hours will be provided by the International Association of Forensic Nurses (IAFN).
