SUMMARY:Gallery Exhibition: Historic Wilson Hall
DESCRIPTION:Historic Wilson Hall\nDesignated a Historical Landmark in 1985\nNovember 1 – December 21\, 2012\nPollak Gallery\nFree & Open to Public\nThe splendor of the golden age of American palaces will be featured in
an exhibit of photographs depicting Shadow lawn estate as it appeared from 1903 through 1937. The exhibit features images of the original colonial wood frame structure built in 1903 that was destroyed by fire in 1927\, and the neoclassical French limestone structure that replaced it in 1929. The exhibit includes images of President Woodrow Wilson making his acceptance speech on the steps
of Shadow Lawn\, the opulent décor of the interiors\, and the greenhouses and grounds that supported the estate.\n\nThis exhibition is part of an ongoing historical project that we hope to grow and enhance by learning more through oral histories and individual memories. If you or a family member had a special connection or story to share about Shadow Lawn Mansion or Wilson Hall\, please submit it. We will be collecting this information for use in future research and exhibitions.

SUMMARY:The Holiday Guys starring MARC KUDISCH & JEFFRY DENMAN
DESCRIPTION:Location: Pollak Theater \nThurs. November 29 at 8 p.m.  \nFri. November 30 at 3 and 8 p.m. \n \nSun. December 2\, 2012* at 3 p.m. \nTickets: $30\, $40 \n \nStarring three-time Tony Award winning nominee Marc Kudisch (Thoroughly Modern Millie\, 9 to 5\, Chitty Chitty Bang Bang\, The Apple Tree\, The Wild Party) and Award-winning quadruple threat actor/singer/dancer/choreographer\, Jeffry Denman (White Christmas\, The Producers\, How to Succeed In Business)\,\n two of the most talented performers on Broadway today\, singing and\ndancing their way through classical holiday tunes in a fresh and\n“hilarious” re-gifting of the true meaning of the holidays. \nIt’s a funny\, musical celebration of the rivalry between Hanukkah and\n Christmas and an irresistible and affectionate reclaiming of the true\nmeaning of the holidays created by two brilliant creative minds. It’s a\nunique blend: two parts Smothers Brothers – quirkiness and\nsentimentality; one part nostalgic innocence and sincere goofiness of\nLaurel and Hardy\, one part sophisticated and joy filled song and dance\nroutines of Kelly and Kaye\, and one part infectious humor and holiday\nvariety show of Hope and Crosby. When gently stirred and served next to a\n roaring Yule log fireplace\, you have an undeniably contagious and\nheartfelt holiday gift. Christmas and Hanukkah will never be the same!   \n“One of the most entertaining shows in recent years.” \n-Broadwaystars.com \n*Please note that the December 2 performance at 8 p.m. was cancelled.*
