Your computer must be robust enough to utilize current web browsers and download files in a reasonable amount of time.<\/li>\n<li>Minimum standards for a PC or Apple desktop or laptop:\n<ul>\n<li>Dual core processor \/ Intel processor<\/li>\n<li>4 GB RAM<\/li>\n<li>320 GB hard drive<\/li>\n<li>DVD drive<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Minimum recommended operating system:\n<ul>\n<li>PC: Windows 7 or newer<\/li>\n<li>Apple: MAC OS X 10.8 or newer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft Office 2013 for PC; Microsoft Office 2011 for MAC<\/li>\n<li>An Internet connection to access online courses and materials; high-speed access such as cable internet on DSL.<\/li>\n<li>An internet web browser:\n<ul>\n<li>Mozilla Firefox 24 or newer<\/li>\n<li>Google Chrome<\/li>\n<li>Microsoft I.E. 10 or newer<\/li>\n<li>Apple Safari 6 or newer<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>A Monmouth University student login account. This will be provided to all students after initial course registrations.<\/li>\n<li>Current active malware protection software<\/li>\n<li>Extended warranty program or Apple Care support<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2>Computer Skills<\/h2>\n<ul type=\"disc\">\n<li>Students should be knowledgeable about their computer\u2019s specifications, specifically the operating system and browser. Additional information will be provided as part of the orientation materials.<\/p>\n<h2>WebAdvisor \/ My MU Portal<\/h2>\n<p>The Monmouth University portal used to access your biographic information, review your grades and transcript, access your degree audit and register for classes. Additional information will be provided with the orientation materials, as well as a tutorial on how to use WebAdvisor.<\/p>\n<h2>e-Forms<\/h2>\n<p>Monmouth students are provided with online forms, used to transact business with offices.
