Siobhan A. Huggins-Sullivan, M.S., ATC
Siobhan Huggins-Sullivan, MS, ATC works as an assistant athletic trainer in the Sports Medicine Department at Monmouth University. She primarily works with the women’s soccer and women’s basketball teams at Monmouth. Prior to coming to Monmouth, Siobhan served as an athletic trainer at Baldwin Wallace University and North Carolina A&T State University.
Siobhan completed her graduate studies at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro. While there she earned a Master of Science degree in Kinesiology with a concentration in Sport and Exercise Psychology. Her graduate thesis evaluated the efficacy of using mental imagery to maintain muscle strength during joint immobilization. She completed her undergraduate degree in Athletic Training from the University of Pittsburgh.
Professor Huggins-Sullivan began teaching First Aid and Safety at Monmouth as an adjunct faculty member in 2014. In 2015 she worked to create the Sports Medicine Seminar to give Monmouth students more exposure to the sports medicine field. Along with being a certified athletic trainer, Professor Huggins-Sullivan is also a certified American Red Cross First Aid, CPR and AED Instructor.
