Originally from Ireland, Dr. Eimear Nolan joined Monmouth University in the Fall 2016 semester as an Assistant Professor of Management and Decision Sciences. Prior to coming to Monmouth University she taught Cross-Cultural Management, Ethics, Leadership and Human Resource Management at Kean University for two academic years.

Before relocating to the USA in 2014 Dr. Nolan served as an Assistant Professor for two years in the School of Hospitality and Tourism Management at the University of Surrey, United Kingdom, teaching Intercultural Management, Human Resource Management, Contemporary Issues, Operations Management and Events Management. Dr. Nolan also has over 8 years’ industry experience in various roles including managerial and volunteers at the JBJ Soul Kitchen. Dr. Nolan also works as a private consultant to leaders who wish to understand and learn cultural management techniques in order to increase performance, manage change, create a positive organizational culture, and communicate effectively across borders.

Professor Nolan has published scholarly Journal papers (in International Journal of Human Resource Management, International Journal of Intercultural Relations) and attended global conferences and workshops (AOM, IAM, VII International Workshop of HRM, ICBMG) in international management.
