As Associate Athletics Director for Student Athlete Performance, Amanda’s primary team responsibilities include men’s and women’s basketball and lacrosse. In 2011, Amanda Kuperavage began her Monmouth career as an Assistant Strength and Conditioning Coach. Professor Kuperavage teaches Weight Training (PE 163).
Previously, she spent two years as a graduate assistant strength coach at Gardner-Webb University where she earned a master’s degree in Sport Science and Pedagogy. Prior to GWU, she served as an intern at Bucknell University, Lafayette University, and Stony Brook University.
She graduated Cum Laude with a B.S. in Sport and Exercise Science and a minor in Sport Management from DeSales University in Pennsylvania. Amanda played four years of basketball and ended her senior season with a “Sweet 16” appearance in the Division III NCAA Tournament. She is Certified Strength and Conditioning Specialist ® (CSCS ®) certified through the National Strength and Conditioning Association. In her free, time Amanda remains active through competing in triathlons, running events, and beach volleyball.
