The club meets regularly throughout the year and facilitates numerous law-related events, such as guest speakers, Monmouth alumni, and law student roundtables and visits from law school representatives.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Area law schools\u2014including Seton Hall, Rutgers-Newark, Villanova, Drexel, Temple, and Rutgers-Camden\u2014regularly send representatives to speak to the Pre-Law Club about admission questions. Meetings cover a range of topics, such as\u2026<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>What in the Monmouth curriculum would best prepare students for law school.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Specifics about law school applications and the LSAT.<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Workshops on surviving the \u201c1L\u201d year, including applied exercises on first-year law school aspects such as Socratic method, case briefing, outlining, and preparing for law school final exams.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The club also sponsors social functions that encourage the spirit of legal studies, such as Pre-Law \u201cMovie Night,\u201d and serves as the organizational sponsor of the mock trial and moot court teams.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-media-text has-media-on-the-right is-stacked-on-mobile\" style=\"grid-template-columns:auto 25%\"><div class=\"wp-block-media-text__content\">\n<h3 id=\"the-monmouth-university-law-review\" class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>The Monmouth University Law Review<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\"><em>The Monmouth University Law Review<\/em> is a student-edited publication dedicated to advancing thoughtful legal scholarship and encouraging discussion on issues of law, policy, and justice. The law review provides a forum for rigorous analysis, diverse perspectives, and emerging voices in legal and interdisciplinary research. This publication is run by the Pre-Law Club at Monmouth University.
