Upon completion of the program, students will earn a B.A. in Music and Education with an endorsement in K-12 music education.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Majors gain&nbsp;<strong>hands-on knowledge working with students<\/strong>&nbsp;during their initial field teaching experience and subsequent student teaching experience. Additionally, music and education undergraduates are required to demonstrate performance skill in an instrument or voice, evidenced by their culminating senior recital.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The Department of Music and Theatre Arts takes pride in providing a personalized learning experience. Students are provided the opportunity to work shoulder to shoulder with education professionals and award-winning producers, musicians, vocalists, theater professionals, and music industry executives in our state of-the-art performance spaces. Our renowned music faculty are actively involved in recording, composition, and performance projects while advancing academic research nationwide.<\/p>\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"undergraduate-research-amp-internships\">Undergraduate Research &amp; Internships<\/h3>\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"your-interests-your-path\"><strong>Your Interests. Your Path.<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n<p>Music education students at Monmouth University are encouraged to incorporate their personal interests in their studies.
