Adrienne Hansen is a tenured Sixth Grade Language Arts Teacher and an Adjunct Professor for the Department of Curriculum & Instruction in the School of Education. From Monmouth University, Adrienne earned a B.A., in English and Education and a Master of Science in Education: Reading Specialist Degree. In addition, Adrienne earned Post-Masters Degrees in Supervision and Teaching Students with Disabilities from Monmouth University.

She earned the Governor’s Teacher of the Year Award in 2018-2019. She has been a sixth grade language arts teacher for over eleven years. She serves as an active member of the School Safety Team and Professional Development Academy.

Adrienne has been an Adjunct Professor and a Faculty Writing Assistant at Monmouth University since 2016. She has instructed over thirty literacy courses at the Masters and Undergraduate levels. Adrienne loves facilitating and supervising pre-service and current teachers in literacy instruction. Her passions center on structuring clinical experiences with a strong focus on literate environments, reading assessments, lesson design, and SEL.
