About the Program<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Math students can choose to concentrate in statistics to focus on data analysis, mathematical models, and specialized statistical programs. The program gives students both a strong foundation in mathematics as well as specialized advanced knowledge in pure and applied statistics.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Undergraduate Research<\/h3>\n\n\n\n

Students in the Math Department have the opportunity to work with our faculty on research projects to further their learning and make meaningful connections in their chosen field.
