{"id":5814,"date":"2022-01-27T17:00:24","date_gmt":"2022-01-27T22:00:24","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/covid-19\/?p=5814"},"modified":"2022-01-27T17:00:24","modified_gmt":"2022-01-27T22:00:24","slug":"employees-rapid-home-antigen-tests-submitting-positive-results","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/covid-19\/employees-rapid-home-antigen-tests-submitting-positive-results\/","title":{"rendered":"Employees: Rapid Home Antigen Tests:  Submitting Positive Results"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>On behalf of the Crisis Management Team please see below for clarification regarding at home rapid antigen testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>At home rapid antigen tests are now more available and accessible to people in the community.&nbsp;<br>This is an alternative for persons who are at home, not feeling well and travel to campus or a local health agency is not feasible.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>If you have COVID symptoms and <\/strong><strong>test positive<\/strong> <strong>with a <\/strong><strong>home rapid antigen<\/strong><strong> <\/strong><strong>test<\/strong>, <strong>you must <\/strong><strong>report<\/strong><strong> your positive finding<\/strong> to <a href=\"mailto:health@monmouth.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">health@monmouth.edu<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Guidelines for submitting a POSITIVE home rapid antigen test<\/strong><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\"><li>Take a <strong>picture <\/strong>of the positive result<strong>.<\/strong><\/li><li>Place <strong>Employee ID in the picture<\/strong>.<\/li><li><strong>Date and time stamp<\/strong> the picture<\/li><li>Send the image to <a href=\"mailto:health@monmouth.edu\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">health@monmouth.edu<\/a><\/li><\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>Rapid home testing does not replace the more sensitive, on-campus PCR surveillance testing for those required to do so.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>As a reminder, both rapid antigen and PCR testing are available to you on campus at no cost.&nbsp; If you are symptomatic, go to the Health Center where both types of testing can be conducted.&nbsp; If you are a close contact and do not have symptoms, go to the Testing Center located at Magill Commons for PCR testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thank you for your cooperation with this process!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On behalf of the Crisis Management Team please see below for clarification regarding at home rapid antigen testing.
