Message to the Class of 2021 (March 9, 2021)
Dear Graduates and Degree Candidates,
I hope this message finds you well as we continue to navigate through the Covid-19 pandemic. I am sure that you are anxious to hear about our plans for Commencement this spring which is why I am writing to you today.
As we indicated over a year ago to the Class of 2020, Monmouth University is committed to holding in person commencement ceremonies on campus when it is safe to do so and permitted by the state. At this time, the state allows for outside gatherings of 25 people and inside gatherings of 10. Given this, it is not yet possible for us to announce dates or ceremony structures without further guidance from the state. We hope to have that soon and once we do, we will communicate again with you. Please continue to check your student email for more information as it becomes available.
In the meantime, please see important information below regarding your cap and gown and formal picture information.
Cap and Gown Ordering
For the May graduates, we will be opening cap and gown ordering beginning March 15, 2021, ending on April 9, 2021. If you completed your degree in the fall but have not yet ordered a cap and gown, you may do so during the March 15, 2021 to April 9, 2021 timeframe. You will be sent an email with a link to order your cap and gown and have it sent to your preferred address. Please look for this email and respond directly to the Herff Jones link. Herff Jones is our regalia supplier.
