  1. Describe your role or a typical day.
    During a typical day, I manage four Instagram channels. I manage restaurants and a virtual cocktail class. I also create media lists, and interact with other local restaurants in Asbury Park. I have daily marketing tasks that include importing and exporting contacts, creating social media content, and researching influencers.
  1. How did you hear about or obtain this role?
    I heard about this role through Career Development at Monmouth. I obtained this role from a series of interviews.
  1. What were your major responsibilities at the internship?
    At the internship, my major responsibilities consisted of creating content, managing social media accounts, and completing daily marketing tasks.
  1. What interested you about it?
    I was very interested in this position because it was for both social media and marketing. I was also interested in this position because I love creating content, and interacting with people on social media.
  1. What did you learn through your experience? How can you relate this to your future career goals?
    Through this experience, I learned how to work well with a team. I also learned how to utilize social media platforms. I can relate this to my future career goals because many careers will require you to work with teams, and it is beneficial to gain teamwork experience.
  1. What advice would you give to other students about the internship experience?
    I would tell other students that an internship is great experience for the real world! I would also tell students to stay determined and reach out to connections, and people in the workforce. Although the internship process can be hard during the pandemic, it is important to stay positive and work hard!
