If you are seeking a rewarding career where your work has a meaningful impact on a daily basis, we invite you to apply and become part of our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong><u>Salary &amp; Benefits:<\/u><\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Entry-Level Officers: $60,345 \u2013 $72,005\u00a0<\/strong>per year (based on qualifications and experience)<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Lateral Officers: $72,006 \u2013 $81,468\u00a0<\/strong>per year (based on qualifications and experience)<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Extra $1.00<\/strong> per hour for night differential pay<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Lateral Officer Sign-On Bonus<\/strong>: Up to <strong>$5,000<\/strong>, with an optional vacation time package<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>FREE\u00a0<\/strong>membership to the West River Community Center for you and your family<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>12 FREE\u00a0<\/strong>college credits at Dickinson State University for you and\/or your immediate family members<br \/>Opportunities for training and career advancement<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong><u>Requirements:<\/u><\/strong><br \/><i><strong>Entry-Level Police Officer:<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must be at least <strong>20 years old<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>High School Diploma\u00a0<\/strong>or <strong>G.E.D.\u00a0<\/strong>(Associate degree preferred)<\/li>\n<li>College-level coursework or specialized training in law enforcement, criminal justice, or a related field is highly desirable<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i><strong>Lateral Police Officer<\/strong><\/i><strong>:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Must hold a <strong>current North Dakota POST certification\u00a0<\/strong>or an <strong>equivalent out-of-state certification<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Be in <strong>good standing\u00a0<\/strong>with your current law enforcement agency (no ongoing internal, criminal, or civil investigations)<\/li>\n<li>Minimum of <strong>three consecutive years of full-time law enforcement field experience<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<li>Must be employed full-time with arrest powers by a <strong>state, county, or municipal law enforcement agency<\/strong>\n<ul>\n<li>OR have been <strong>laid off or voluntarily retired\u00a0<\/strong>within the past 12 months while in good standing and eligible for rehire<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Additional qualifications apply for agencies with <strong>minimum sworn officer\/deputy requirements<\/strong>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Want More Information?\u00a0Text a recruiter at 701-690-2739\u00a0<\/strong>to learn more about joining our team.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Ready to Serve?
