You&#8217;ll coach, mentor, and encourage participants while helping create inclusive workplace experiences. The internship is 25 hours a week, M-Th with a professional development meeting on Fridays. Morning to early afternoon hours. The pay is $16\/hour. There is a week long break for the July 4th holiday.<\/p>\n<h3>What you&#8217;ll do<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Coach and support participants at community work sites.<\/li>\n<li>Teach workplace skills and expectations.<\/li>\n<li>Partner with employers to promote success and accommodations.<\/li>\n<li>Track participant progress and complete required documentation.<\/li>\n<li>Transport participants to approved work activities when needed.<\/li>\n<li>Serve as a positive advocate for inclusion and independence.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>What we&#8217;re looking for<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>High school diploma or GED.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting individuals with disabilities is a plus.<\/li>\n<li>Strong communication and organizational skills.<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working in various settings, including outdoors.<\/li>\n<li>Valid driver&#8217;s license required.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h3>You&#8217;ll thrive here if you are:<\/h3>\n<p>&#8211; Patient and encouraging<br \/>&#8211; Dependable and adaptable<br \/>&#8211; Passionate about helping others succeed<br \/>&#8211; Comfortable working independently and as part of a team<br \/>&#8211; Committed to dignity, respect, and inclusion<\/p>\n<h3>Requirements<\/h3>\n<ul>\n<li>Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic computer skills.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to pass required background and drug screenings.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to travel to assigned worksites<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>EO\/AA Employer\u202f<\/strong>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re\u202fcommitted to building a team that reflects a wide range of backgrounds, perspectives, and skills.
