You will handle assessments, treatments, medication support, and health education that help maintain a stable and healthy environment.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a Registered Nurse, you will perform the following duties:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Health Assessments:\u00a0<\/strong>Conduct physical assessments, identify concerns, and make nursing diagnoses that guide proper care<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Medication Support:\u00a0<\/strong>Administer medications, monitor compliance, and observe how well treatments are working<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Treatment Delivery:\u00a0<\/strong>Provide ordered treatments, assist with examinations, and support daily living needs for assigned individuals<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Record Keeping:\u00a0<\/strong>Update electronic health records, review charts, and prepare documentation for transfers or releases<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Education and Guidance:\u00a0<\/strong>Teach health practices to staff and offenders and reinforce information that supports safe behavior<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Operational Compliance:\u00a0<\/strong>Maintain readiness for inspections and follow all required infection control and quality procedures<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>If you have the required medical experience and wish to explore a rewarding career that offers the opportunity to share your skills while earning a great salary, apply today!<\/p>\n<p><strong>Work Hours and Additional Information:\u00a0<\/strong><br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-time employment, 40-hour work week.<\/li>\n<li>The Department of Corrections is staffed by three (3) work shifts that cover the facility 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year.\n<ul>\n<li>1st shift: 6:00 AM &#8211; 2:30 PM<\/li>\n<li>2nd shift: 2:00 PM &#8211; 10:30 PM<\/li>\n<li>3rd shift: 10:00 PM &#8211; 6:30 AM<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Work hours TO BE DETERMINED.<\/li>\n<li>Alternative work schedules may be available, depending on operational needs.<\/li>\n<li>This position is eligible for full retirement benefits at age 50 or 55.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Telework:\u00a0<\/strong>You will not have the option to telework in this position.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Please Note:<\/strong>\u00a0 Selected candidates who are new to employment within the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania will begin employment at the starting annual salary of $89,882.00 (before taxes)\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>You will receive further communication regarding this position via email.
