The integrated full-service solutions leverage a 99-year legacy in event management as well as new technologies to deliver moments that matter.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Summary<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Scheduling Manager is responsible for the staffing and scheduling of necessary and appropriate staff to events while managing labor coordination process to ensure appropriate labor requirements and arrangements are made for all assigned events and established protocols are communicated and followed. \u00a0This fast-paced and challenging role requires successfully managing competing priorities and timelines.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This position will support our Labor Scheduling team. It is eligible to work a hybrid schedule, generally requiring work in-office and\/or show-site 2-3 days per week. \u00a0This position is based out of Las Vegas, NV.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Essential Duties &amp; Responsibilities<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Responsible for staffing all positions for events including local labor, union labor, or vendor labor.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Manages show site casual labor and union labor activities. \u00a0<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Acts as labor subject matter expert for assigned cities or regions.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Advises and participates in the creation of labor policies for assigned cities or regions.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Recommends and participates in developing best-practices procedures and overseeing these are followed.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Ensures efficient utilization of show site labor in a cost-effective manner while adhering to union work rules and vendor agreements.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Ensures proper labor documentation requirements are communicated and maintained on show site.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Ensures qualified show personnel are assigned.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Assists with event labor budgeting as requested.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Communicates with Sales and Operations to clarify labor requirements and acts as liaison between Sales and Operations on labor specifications.\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Ensures city profiles are current and correct with current vendor and union labor rates and jurisdictions.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Assists management in labor relations and contract administration.\u00a0<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Recruits and qualifies new AV technicians.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Reviews union and vendor contracts relevant to assigned cities or regions.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Performs other duties as assigned.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Education &amp; Experience<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Bachelor\u2019s Degree (B.A. or B.S.) or equivalent work experience.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Working knowledge of relevant labor laws (FMLA, ACA, ADA, FLSA, etc.).<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Minimum 3 years of event production and operations experience.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Labor or staffing coordination experience preferred.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Thorough understanding of payroll systems and methods of payments to employees and contractors.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Minimum two years supervisory experience.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Experience working with unions and interpreting labor contract language is required.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Working knowledge of Audio, Video, Lighting, Rigging and Scenic labor requirements.<br \/>\u2022 \u00a0 \u00a0Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; expert in Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets.<\/p>\n<h2><strong>Travel Requirements<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>Travel 25% to 50%<\/p>\n<h2><strong>What We Offer<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>The Freeman Company provides benefits that aim to empower our people and their families to thrive mentally, physically, and financially.\u00a0 These are a handful of the types of programs and benefits our full-time people may be eligible for.\u00a0 There may be some variances in specific benefits across regions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Medical, Dental, Vision Insurance.<\/li>\n<li>Tuition Reimbursement.<\/li>\n<li>Paid Parental Leave.<\/li>\n<li>Life, Accident and Disability.<\/li>\n<li>Retirement with Company Match.<\/li>\n<li>Paid Time Off.<\/li>\n<li>Salary range of $60,000-$75,000 annually, based upon experience.<\/li>\n<li>Eligible for an annual bonus of up to 5% of the base salary.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h2><strong>Diversity Commitment<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>At The Freeman Company, our commitment to diversity and inclusion is helping us to create not only a great place to work, but also an environment where our employees, our customers and our communities around the world can reach their goals and connect with each other.
