We design and deliver strong global communications that are aligned with the company\u2019s overall business strategy. In addition, the team upholds best-in-class communications team values such as demonstrating transparency, ethics and effectiveness in all work.<\/p>\n<p>This internship opportunity will be located in Houston, TX with expectations of frequent travel to other Phillips 66 field sites.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Do<\/strong><br \/>A summer internship with Phillips 66 Communications &amp; Public Affairs provides the opportunity to work on an array of assignments within the Communications department and work with internal and external stakeholders, as well as travel to complete assignments as needed:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assignments that develop technical and professional skills, and will involve collaboration with various Phillips 66 functions<\/li>\n<li>Written and verbal communication through multiple channels<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Summer internship activities may include the following:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Orientation and training events, field trips, social activities, weekly seminars and opportunities to meet and interact with functional leaders.<\/li>\n<li>Participating in continuous coaching conversations with your manager, who will provide direction throughout your internship.<\/li>\n<li>Provided with an assigned mentor for further guidance and to help you with the technical challenges of your role and give assistance in navigating through the day-to-day questions regarding working in the corporate world.<\/li>\n<li>Giving a presentation at the end of the summer to senior business leaders and key stakeholders.
