based on relevant experience, skills, and qualifications, with most new hires starting between the minimum and midpoint of the posted wage range)<\/p>\n<p><strong>Hours:\u00a0<\/strong>Part-Time, Up to 25 hours per week<\/p>\n<p><strong>Location:<\/strong>\u00a0Tom Taylor Family YMCA, Gig Harbor, WA<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>As a\u00a0Child Watch Attendant, you will ensure a safe, caring, and fun learning environment for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years while parents are utilizing the YMCA facilities.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Minimum of 15 years of age or older.<\/li>\n<li>Six months or more of related experience (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Comfort and confidence working with children.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrated positive attitude and professional demeanor.<\/li>\n<li>Current CPR, First Aid, and AED certifications (preferred).<\/li>\n<li>Must be able to pass Background and Reference checks (in accordance with the WA State Fair Chance Act).<\/li>\n<li>Committed to valuing and promoting diversity and contributing to an inclusive working and learning environment.<\/li>\n<li>Able and willing to complete online Child Abuse Prevention training on first day, and other online and in-person training as required.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Key Responsibilities:\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Care for children ages 6 weeks to 7 years of age\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Monitor drop-off and pick-up of children<\/li>\n<li>Play actively with the children by adapting activities to the needs of each<\/li>\n<li>Communicate with parents regarding their children&#8217;s behavior and safety<\/li>\n<li>Assist with maintaining cleanliness and order in the child watch area<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Benefits:<\/strong><br
