We support individuals aged 15-30 who are unable to live at home due to complex medical needs, helping them thrive in a safe and caring setting.<\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>To learn more:\u00a0\u00a0<a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.childserve.org\/nursing-at-childserve\/\"><strong><u>Nursing at ChildServe &#8211; ChildServe<\/u><\/strong><\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Full-Time, 3 shifts per week, 6pm-6:30 am, every 3rd\u00a0weekend<\/li>\n<li>Benefit eligible including medical, dental, vision plans, retirement with company match and generous PTO accrual including 16 hours of PTO front-loaded<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>How You\u2019ll Make an Impact<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Within the nursing scope of practice, physician\u2019s orders, and the care plan, make decisions and deliver a full range of nursing care based on the fundamentals of the nursing process.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain accurate, completed, and timely records as defined by nursing standards of practice and ChildServe policies and procedures.<\/li>\n<li>Communicate effectively, respectfully, and professionally with residents, physicians, families, school personnel, ChildServe staff, and others to assure assigned child\u2019s care needs are assessed, communicated, and met.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Provide training to patients, families, and staff as needed to help advance the skills and knowledge of all people associated with a child\u2019s care delivery.<\/li>\n<li>Demonstrate good stewardship of ChildServe equipment, supplies, and environment.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><strong>\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Current valid license as a RN or LPN in Iowa.<\/li>\n<li>Active BLS from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to lift up to 35 lbs, be mobile within the clinic areas, and frequently bend, lift, reach, and stand.<\/li>\n<li>Ability to communicate effectively in (or through) reading, writing and speaking the English language.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Not sure if you hit 100% of the position expectations?
