Beacons provides after-school\u00a0academic and enrichment\u00a0opportunities with\u00a0a focus on inspiring youth to make positive decisions for themselves and their futures\u00a0to students in grades K-5.\u00a0\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Plan, prepare and\u00a0facilitate\/co-facilitate age appropriate and culturally\u00a0informed\u00a0educational activities\u00a0utilizing and\/or creating Youth Development curriculum<\/li>\n<li>Support in recruiting and maintaining program participant<\/li>\n<li>Help develop and maintain a safe learning environment that is student-centered, mission-focused, and accessible to a diverse student body<\/li>\n<li>Support communication\u00a0and retention\u00a0with participants and families\u00a0Track program attendance daily and enter information into database on regular basis<\/li>\n<li>Participate in educational activities and trainings for professional and\u00a0programmatic\u00a0development including attending and\u00a0participating in departmental and Beacons program team meetings<\/li>\n<li>Additional duties as assigned<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Schedule<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>School Year: Monday \u2013 Thursday \u2013 1:30PM &#8211; 5:30PM<\/p>\n<p>Summer: Hours subject to change based on\u00a0summer activities and program need<\/p>\n<p><strong>Who You Are:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>You are interested in serving the community of HIA and have familiarity\u00a0working with diverse school populations.
