Entry-Level Data Analyst \u2014 New Graduate Opportunity<\/strong><\/p>\n

About the Role<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n

TechMentee is seeking an Entry-Level Data Analyst to join our growing team. This opportunity is designed for final-year students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals interested in using data to solve business problems and support informed decision-making.<\/p>\n

You will work with business and technical teams to collect, organize, analyze, and visualize data. The ideal candidate has a solid foundation in SQL and Microsoft Excel, an interest in data visualization, and the ability to communicate findings clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.<\/p>\n

Professional experience is not required. Relevant coursework, academic projects, internships, certifications, and personal projects will be considered.<\/p>\n

Key Responsibilities<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n

Collect, clean, validate, and organize data from multiple sources.<\/p>\n

Analyze datasets to identify trends, patterns, anomalies, and actionable business insights.<\/p>\n

Write and optimize SQL queries for data extraction and analysis.<\/p>\n

Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.<\/p>\n

Use Microsoft Excel for analysis, reconciliation, and reporting.<\/p>\n

Assist in developing dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or similar tools.<\/p>\n

Perform data-quality checks and investigate inconsistencies.<\/p>\n

Support business teams with ad-hoc analysis and reporting requests.<\/p>\n

Translate business questions into meaningful analytical tasks.<\/p>\n

Present findings and recommendations clearly to team members and stakeholders.<\/p>\n

Maintain documentation for reports, datasets, metrics, and analytical processes.<\/p>\n

Collaborate with teams across business, technology, finance, and operations.<\/p>\n

Required Qualifications<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n

Currently pursuing or recently completed a bachelor\u2019s or master\u2019s degree in Data Analytics, Computer Science, Information Technology, Statistics, Mathematics, Business Analytics, Economics, or a related discipline.<\/p>\n

Expected to graduate soon or graduated within the past two years.<\/p>\n

Foundational knowledge of SQL and relational databases.<\/p>\n

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.<\/p>\n

Basic understanding of data cleaning, analysis, and visualization.<\/p>\n

Familiarity with Power BI, Tableau, or a comparable visualization tool.<\/p>\n

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.<\/p>\n

Good written and verbal communication skills.<\/p>\n

Careful attention to detail and data accuracy.<\/p>\n

Ability to work independently and collaboratively.<\/p>\n

Preferred Qualifications<\/strong><\/i><\/p>\n

Experience using Python or R for data analysis.<\/p>\n

Familiarity with Pandas and NumPy.<\/p>\n

Experience creating dashboards in Power BI or Tableau.<\/p>\n

Understanding of basic statistical concepts.<\/p>\n

Knowledge of data warehousing, ETL processes, or data modeling.<\/p>\n

Familiarity with AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud.<\/p>\n

Experience with SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, or a similar database.<\/p>\n

Familiarity with Jira and Agile or Scrum working environments.<\/p>\n
