GlowUp ACS is a nonprofit that helps emerging professionals bridge that gap through meaningful, hands-on opportunities to develop practical skills, contribute to real projects, and gain experience they can apply throughout their careers.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re currently rebuilding after funding changes required us to scale back some of our programming. That makes this a unique time to join GlowUp ACS. Associate Interns can contribute directly to the systems, projects, and programs supporting our next stage of growth while gaining firsthand experience working within a small nonprofit where their contributions can have a visible impact.<\/p>\n<p>Responsibilities<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Assist with recruitment, screening, and onboarding of new interns and collaborators.<\/li>\n<li>Maintain and improve HR tools, databases, and documentation (e.g., Notion, Google Drive).<\/li>\n<li>Draft and refine team policies, handbooks, and communication templates.<\/li>\n<li>Support check-ins, feedback surveys, and scheduling systems.<\/li>\n<li>Contribute to wellness and culture-building initiatives.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>What You\u2019ll Need<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in HR, organizational psychology, operations, or people management.<\/li>\n<li>Strong writing, communication, and coordination skills, with attention to detail.<\/li>\n<li>Comfort with Google Workspace (familiarity with Slack or Notion is a plus).<\/li>\n<li>Reliable computer\/laptop, stable Wi-Fi, and a webcam\/microphone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Gain<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on nonprofit human resources experience for your resume and LinkedIn.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting recruitment, screening, onboarding, employee records, HR communications, policies, and team engagement initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship and feedback, with access to professional development resources as capacity allows.<\/li>\n<li>Optional college credit where your school offers it, with documentation provided on request.<\/li>\n<li>A reference reflecting your contributions, where earned.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow with the organization.<\/li>\n<li>A welcoming, inclusive, mission-driven remote team.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>If that sounds like you, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
