Work involves following standardized procedures to complete assigned duties.<br \/>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Essential Functions:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Coordinates Community Service Programs, Suspension Alternative Program (SAP), Restitution Work Program (RWP) and individual community service;<\/li>\n<li>Facilitates the development of new community-based locations for work sites;<\/li>\n<li>Keeps records of hours and statistics for partner agencies;<\/li>\n<li>Tracks community service program hours;<\/li>\n<li>Informs Probation\/Intake Officers of program attendance;<\/li>\n<li>Maintains positive working relationship with juveniles and families of diverse cultural, racial, religious, and socioeconomic backgrounds;<\/li>\n<li>Assists Probation\/Intake Officers in locating appropriate community service sites for youth;<\/li>\n<li>Informs school personnel and probation staff of pertinent information regarding students or programs;<\/li>\n<li>Enforces use of necessary safety equipment, e.g. orange vests, gloves, signs, etc., while on service programs;<\/li>\n<li>Ensures that vehicles and equipment are maintained;<\/li>\n<li>Procures vehicle and supplies daily for use;<\/li>\n<li>Coordinates between the Court and community partners;<\/li>\n<li>Reinforces rules, maintains structure and encourages teamwork while at job site;<\/li>\n<li>Provides transportation for juvenile participants to and from work sites and assures each youth has properly signed release forms;<\/li>\n<li>Supervises and instructs youths as they participate in a variety of service projects; and<\/li>\n<li>Records, maintains and updates statistics for grant reporting to funding agencies and for other grant opportunities.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n","protected":false},"featured_media":0,"template":"","meta":{"_ch_employer_id":"87183","_ch_external_id":"11349072","_ch_location_state":"","_ch_location_city":"","_ch_is_ocr_job":"","_ch_expiration_date":"2026-09-26","_ch_apply_link":"https:\/\/monmouth.joinhandshake.com\/jobs\/11349072\/share_preview"},"ch_stakeholder":[],"ch_class_year":[],"ch_job_category":[86],"ch_career_skill":[],"ch_industry":[59],"class_list":["post-87186","ch_job","type-ch_job","status-publish","hentry","ch_job_category-full-time","ch_industry-government-law-enforcement-public-policy"],"_links":{"self":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job\/87186","targetHints":{"allow":["GET"]}}],"collection":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job"}],"about":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/types\/ch_job"}],"wp:attachment":[{"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/media?parent=87186"}],"wp:term":[{"taxonomy":"ch_stakeholder","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_stakeholder?post=87186"},{"taxonomy":"ch_class_year","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_class_year?post=87186"},{"taxonomy":"ch_job_category","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_job_category?post=87186"},{"taxonomy":"ch_career_skill","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_career_skill?post=87186"},{"taxonomy":"ch_industry","embeddable":true,"href":"https:\/\/www.monmouth.edu\/career-development\/wp-json\/wp\/v2\/ch_industry?post=87186"}],"curies":[{"name":"wp","href":"https:\/\/api.w.org\/{rel}","templated":true}]}}
