GlowUp ACS is a nonprofit that helps emerging professionals bridge that gap through meaningful, hands-on opportunities to develop practical skills, contribute to real projects, and gain experience they can apply throughout their careers.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re currently rebuilding after funding changes required us to scale back some of our programming. That makes this a unique time to join GlowUp ACS. Associate Interns can contribute directly to the systems, projects, and programs supporting our next stage of growth while gaining firsthand experience working within a small nonprofit where their contributions can have a visible impact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Support engagement and communication across GlowUp ACS\u2019s online communities.<\/li>\n<li>Help respond to community questions, comments, and messages in a professional and welcoming manner.<\/li>\n<li>Assist with community announcements, updates, and engagement activities.<\/li>\n<li>Track recurring questions, feedback, and community needs.<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with communications and program teams to help maintain a positive and inclusive community experience.<\/li>\n<li>Help identify ideas for improving participation and engagement.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in community management, communications, public relations, nonprofit work, or a related area.<\/li>\n<li>Strong written communication and interpersonal skills.<\/li>\n<li>Organized, dependable, and comfortable interacting with people online.<\/li>\n<li>Good judgment and a professional approach to handling questions or concerns.<\/li>\n<li>Reliable computer\/laptop, stable Wi-Fi, and webcam\/microphone.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Gain<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on nonprofit community management experience for your resume and LinkedIn.<\/li>\n<li>Experience supporting online engagement, communication, and community-building initiatives.<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship and feedback, with access to professional development resources as capacity allows.<\/li>\n<li>Optional college credit where your school offers it, with documentation provided on request.<\/li>\n<li>A reference reflecting your contributions, where earned.<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow with the organization.<\/li>\n<li>A welcoming, inclusive, mission-driven remote team<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><i>If that sounds like you, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
