GlowUp ACS is a nonprofit that helps emerging professionals bridge that gap through meaningful, hands-on opportunities to develop practical skills, contribute to real projects, and gain experience they can apply throughout their careers.<\/p>\n<p>We\u2019re currently rebuilding after funding changes required us to scale back some of our programming. That makes this a unique time to join GlowUp ACS. Associate Interns can contribute directly to the systems, projects, and programs supporting our next stage of growth while gaining firsthand experience working within a small nonprofit where their contributions can have a visible impact.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Research potential donors, grants, sponsors, and other funding opportunities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Assist with maintaining organized records of fundraising prospects, outreach, and follow-up.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Support the preparation of donor communications, fundraising materials, and grant-related research.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Help brainstorm fundraising campaigns, partnerships, and community outreach opportunities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Research nonprofit fundraising strategies and recommend ideas that may support GlowUp ACS\u2019s growth.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Collaborate with team members on fundraising projects and organizational priorities.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Need<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Interest in nonprofit fundraising, development, communications, business, or a related area.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Strong research, writing, organization, and communication skills.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Comfortable working independently and managing assigned tasks in a remote environment. \u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Attention to detail and willingness to learn new systems and processes.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Reliable computer\/laptop, stable internet connection, and webcam\/microphone for meetings.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Previous fundraising experience is helpful but <strong>not required<\/strong>.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>What You\u2019ll Gain<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>Hands-on nonprofit fundraising experience you can highlight on your resume and LinkedIn.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience contributing to real projects that can strengthen your professional portfolio.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Mentorship and feedback, with access to professional development resources as capacity allows.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Eligibility for optional college credit where your school offers it, with documentation provided upon request.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>A reference reflecting your contributions, where earned.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Opportunities to take on greater responsibility as you grow with the organization.\u00a0<\/li>\n<li>Experience working with a welcoming, inclusive, mission-driven remote team.\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><i>If that sounds like you, we\u2019d love to hear from you.
