$3,637.87 to $4,001.66 biweekly.\u00a0 Actual salary negotiable based on experience and qualifications.\u00a0 South Area\/Melbourne\/Travels Countywide.\u00a0 Work schedule is Monday through Friday 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.\u00a0 Performs skilled professional engineering work coordinating, planning, designing, reviewing, inspecting and\/or implementing assigned projects for the Traffic Operations Program. \u00a0May supervise subordinate staff.\u00a0<\/p>\n

REQUIREMENTS<\/u>:\u00a0 <\/strong>Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering PLUS<\/u> five (5) years of experience in transportation engineering; OR<\/u> Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering PLUS<\/u> four (4) years of experience as a Brevard County Engineer I in traffic operations, planning and development, or a closely related field.\u00a0 Supervisory experience is preferred.\u00a0 Professional Engineer (PE) registration in the State of Florida, in accordance with Florida Statute 471, is preferred. \u00a0SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS<\/u>:\u00a0<\/strong> Must possess, or obtain prior to employment, a valid Florida driver’s license and maintain said license during the term of employment.\u00a0 In the event of a hurricane, major storm, natural or man-made disaster that may threaten the area, the employee will be required to perform emergency duties as directed.<\/p>\n
