This finished intelligence is circulated across the Department of Defense (DOD), the Intelligence Community (IC), and US Government\u2014having a high impact.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>This position starts at entry level, GG-07, with developmental promotion opportunities full performance at GG-12.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Responsibilities:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Information Collection:\u00a0<\/strong>Conduct comprehensive research and gather relevant information from diverse sources to support intelligence assessments.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Data Validation and Verification:\u00a0<\/strong>Assess the credibility, reliability, and validity of gathered information.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Data Organization and Management:\u00a0<\/strong>Organize and manage large volumes of data efficiently using various tools and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Data Analysis:\u00a0<\/strong>Analyze collected data to identify key trends, patterns, anomalies, and potential threats.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Reporting and Dissemination:\u00a0<\/strong>Prepare clear, concise, and timely intelligence reports, briefings, and presentations for internal stakeholders.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Tool and Technique Development:\u00a0<\/strong>Contribute to the development and refinement of information gathering and analysis tools and techniques.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Collaboration: <\/strong>Collaborate effectively with other analysts and teams to share information and contribute to broader intelligence assessments.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Continuous Learning:\u00a0<\/strong>Stay up-to-date on emerging trends, technologies, and best practices in intelligence analysis.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Adherence to Standards:\u00a0<\/strong>Adhere to ethical guidelines and legal regulations regarding the collection, use, and dissemination of intelligence information.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Qualifications:<\/strong><\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>\n<strong>Bachelor&#8217;s degree<\/strong> in a relevant field, such as Intelligence Studies, Political Science, International Relations, Journalism, Criminal Justice, or a related discipline.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Strong Analytical Skills:<\/strong> Ability to dissect complex data, identify meaningful patterns, and challenge assumptions to uncover hidden insights.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Critical Thinking &amp; Problem-Solving:<\/strong> Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize information from multiple sources.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Effective Communication:<\/strong> Clearly convey findings and recommendations to stakeholders, leveraging data visualization tools.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Adaptability &amp; Proactive Approach:<\/strong> Willingness to learn new techniques and proactively seek out new data sources.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Integrity &amp; Confidentiality:<\/strong> Commitment to unbiased analysis, ethical guidelines, and maintaining confidentiality.<\/li>\n<li>\n<strong>Collaboration &amp; Independence:<\/strong> Ability to work both independently and collaboratively to achieve team goals.<br \/>\u00a0<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p><strong>Intelligence Specialists <\/strong>are hired as \u201cdevelopmental\u201d employees, which means we\u2019ll train a large portion of the skills you need to be successful!\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>It also means you\u2019ll start at the entry level grade and receive annual promotions to the next salary as you become more skilled and meet performance requirements.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Think of our jobs as having levels, like rungs on a ladder. The higher the number, the more responsibility and experience you&#8217;re expected to have, and generally, the higher the pay.<\/p>\n<p>If you have been here 1 year, your grade is GG-0132-07 and your salary is $52,339.\u00a0<br \/>If you have been here 2 years, your grade is GG-0132-09 and your salary is $64,021.\u00a0<br \/>If you have been here 3 years, your grade is GG-0132-11 and your salary is $77,460.\u00a0<br \/>If you have been here 4 years, your grade is GG-0132-12 and your salary is $92,841.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p><strong>Requirements:<\/strong>\u00a0<br \/>1. Must be a U.S Citizen.\u00a0<br \/>2. Must be able to obtain and maintain a Top Secret\/SCI clearance.\u00a0<br \/>3. May be required to travel by military\/commercial aircraft for performing temporary work assignments\u00a0<br \/>4. May be required to work overtime on an unscheduled or emergency basis.\u00a0<br \/>5.
