College Financial Representative Internship Program<\/p>\n

Launch Your Career Before You Graduate<\/h2>\n

Are you a Junior or Senior graduating in 2027 or 2028 looking to gain meaningful experience before graduation?<\/p>\n

At Northwestern Mutual, you’ll gain real-world experience running your own business while still in college. This is not a typical internship. You’ll work with real clients, build a professional network, and develop skills that directly impact your future.<\/p>\n

This opportunity is based out of our Janesville, Rockford, and Paddock Lake offices. Candidates must live within a commutable distance of one of these locations throughout the internship.<\/strong><\/p>\n

What You’ll Do<\/h2>\n
    \n
  • Build and grow your own client base through networking and relationship building<\/li>\n
  • Meet with clients to understand their financial goals and priorities<\/li>\n
  • Create personalized financial plans and recommendations<\/li>\n
  • Develop and execute your own business strategy<\/li>\n
  • Train weekly with experienced mentors and leaders<\/li>\n
  • Earn your Life and Health Insurance licenses<\/li>\n
  • Attend an in-person training week prior to the internship<\/li>\n
  • Gain exposure to both insurance and investment planning<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
